Biography

Welcome to my website. I hope you find some beauty here.

I am a New Zealand-born Canadian living in Ottawa, Canada. I enjoyed a 30-year career as a biochemistry professor before retiring in 1999, and then took up turning in 2000.

I have been fortunate in having been able to spend time with several well-known turners: I would like to thank Giles Gilson, Rolly Munro, Jason Russell and Binh Pho for sharing their skills and knowledge with me.

Details of my turning career are given in my Resume.
